Frequently Asked Questions
Choosing a physical therapy provider is an important decision. Below are answers to common questions about care at ReActive Sports Medicine so you can feel confident about your next step.
-
No — you do not need to be an Equinox member to receive physical therapy at ReActive Sports Medicine.
Equinox members receive 50% off their first session as part of our partnership.
Non-members are welcomed guests of the club on the day of their appointment and are invited to enjoy amenities such as the steam room, sauna, and locker facilities.
-
Your initial evaluation is a one-on-one session with a Doctor of Physical Therapy focused on understanding your injury, movement patterns, training history, and goals. You can expect a thorough assessment followed by a clear plan designed to help you return to activity safely and efficiently.
-
Sessions are typically 60–90 minutes and are always delivered one-on-one. This allows adequate time for hands-on treatment, movement analysis, and progressive exercise without the rushed environment common in high-volume clinics.
-
As an out of network provider, we do not bill directly to insurance companies. Clients will pay for their sessions via credit, Apple Pay, HSA or FSA funds, and then can self-submit to insurance for reimbursement. Sessions are either paid for individually or as a bundle of sessions.
-
We work with runners, lifters, recreational athletes, and active adults who want to resolve pain, recover from injury, and return to the activities they enjoy.
-
Not at all. While many of our clients are athletic, our approach is ideal for anyone who values personalized care and wants to move with greater strength and confidence.
-
Yes. Our model prioritizes extended one-on-one sessions, individualized programming, and a performance-oriented approach designed to support long-term movement health — not just short-term symptom relief.
